The pastor is supported in the planning and administration of the parish cemetery through a Cemetery Advisory Board made up of a suitable balance of parish laity, representing various disciplines, with the skills to effectively manage the cemetery. The parish Cemetery Committee is a consultative body appointed by the pastor and is advisory in nature.

A parish cemetery is guided by the leadership of the pastor, the Parish Finance Council and
the Cemetery Advisory Board. This leadership group assures the cemetery’s integrity by understanding its complexity and then monitoring financial and operating performance data.
