In 2009, as part of our 150th Anniversary Celebration, the Anniversary Committee proposed to construct a St. Ann Prayer & Healing Garden.  This Prayer Garden was intended to connect us with our past history and also link us into the future here at St Ann ’s.  
                 
The first Catholic Church in Milton was built in 1859, and throughout the years many thousands of pilgrimages were made to the original Shrine.  Many healings and cures were granted through the intercession of St. Ann and the healing water here.  We have many letters documenting these events. 

Through the generosity of our parishioners, the plan to pump water from the healing spring to a fountain in the prayer garden came to fruition. A paved path, lined by a memory wall, leads you from the back parking lot, to our beautiful Prayer & Healing Garden. The water is available during the warmer months, spring - fall.
